Walnut Bookcase

A focus on detail.

This Walnut Bookcase shows off a window that exposes the edge of each shelf which wraps perfectly around its upright, leaving absolutely no room for error.

The split shelf design not only adds to the light feel of the overall piece, but has been specifically designed with seasonal movement in mind. Due to the accuracy of each component of this bookcase, it’s vital to ensure that when the timber expands and contracts, that it moves into the centre of the shelves and not affect the accurate detailing …

Sculpted Cabinet

A functional piece of art.

The goal of this Sculpted Cabinet was to turn an everyday piece of furniture into a one of a kind piece of art.

The doors and drawer fronts are constructed using a process called stacked lamination. Thirteen boards all cut from the same tree to ensure grain and colour continuity are roughly carved using power tools, then glued together and carved by hand to refine the flowing shapes.

When closed, the natural curves of the doors and drawers meet seamlessly with the straight hard edges of …

Tasmanian Oak Record Cabinet

Simplicity and function.

The key focus to the design of the Tasmanian Oak Record Cabinet was to keep it simple while also serving multiple purposes.

Copper Leaf Desk

A place to be inspired.

This Copper Leaf Desk has been designed to tell the clients story. A story of change, a transition from old to new.

The legs have been designed as through legs, finishing flush with the table top exposing the quarter sawn end grain of the Victorian Ash. A small gap between the edges acts as a …

Chevron Dresser

A natural showpiece.

In an effort to explore different patterns and textures, this Chevron Dresser uses timber end grain to create a unique natural feature across the Tasmanian oak drawer fronts.

The end grain has been cut into very thin chevron patterns, then glued to a substrate. Separated from the long grain Tasmanian Oak with a hand polished piece of brass.

The drawers of the Chevron Dresser are all push to open, eliminating the need for exposed hardware.

Walnut & Blackened Brass Console

It’s all in the details.

This Walnut and Blackened Brass Console is a collaboration with Kirsten from NG.Feathers Atelier

The warmth of the Walnut and Blackened Brass help to create a truly beautiful and unique piece.

The custom made brass handles and legs have all been fabricated by Nick, then finished in a patina that allows the brass to darken.

The grain of the walnut truly stands out in this piece. The carefully constructed cabinet provides perfect grain flow around the mitred corners while the front of the cabinet shows off …
